Wuhan Film Park Project Introduction
Wuhan Film Park is located in Wuchang Shahu, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and is the world's first large-scale indoor film theme park. The architectural concept originates from a percussion instrument in ancient China, the chime bell, which is surrounded by 25 golden “chime bells” to form a music-like entertainment space. The building area is 101,000 m2. The building's façade is decorated with a number of cross-bronze concave bell chimes textures that form the focal point of the lighting. It is a challenge for the lighting design of this project to display the hyperbolic façade structure with more than 40,000 m2 with reasonable energy consumption and properly represent the historical context in contemporary cultural architecture. The clever use of the modeling texture organizes the hyperboloid structure to emit light, which solves the uniformity and continuity of the brightness of the combined shell surface, allowing the building to fully stretch the melodious charm of the "chime bell" in the environment, echoing the theme of the movie park. The design structure embedded linear luminaires flood light in the concave surface, forming a light and shadow contrast with the convex surface, creating a comfortable visual sense, and making the elegant and smooth curved surface full of rhythm. Shen Yun is creative, with golden light color and red line light as the keynote, reflecting the texture of bronze chimes, the chimes of Jin Chi Yuzhen, and the tune of Chinese civilization. The shape relies on Seiko, using two kinds of power LED parallel light lens light control lamps, embedded in the wide slot and the narrow slot below, respectively, to cast light upward, the light is controlled in the concave space of the curved surface, no spillover, and protect the night sky Free from light pollution. The lighting operation power is controlled below 6w / m2, in compliance with China's "City Night Lighting Design Code", and in accordance with China's "Green Building Evaluation Standards", and has obtained two-star green building design certification. After 4 prototype tests, the lighting scheme was improved, the problem of coordination between lighting and metal curtain wall structure was solved, and the requirements of lighting quality and design effect were achieved. The intelligent control system controls the LED lighting system. Each luminaire can be controlled by DMX system individually, and the computer can be used to adjust the mixed light of different gray levels of the LED chip to achieve full color change. The average power of the LED luminaire during dynamic changes does not exceed 50% of the rated power. This project has achieved the lighting project budget control target of USD30 / m2. Through optimization design and multiple model tests, the operation management problems of flexible control, convenient operation and easy maintenance of the lighting system were solved.
