Project Location: Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province Lighting Design: Architectural Design and Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Completion Time: 2011.11 Awards: Third Prize of the Eighth Zhongzhao Lighting Award Century Jinqiao is located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, connecting the old city and new city of Jiayuguan City. The bridge is 180 meters long and 30 meters high, with 11 meters wide motorized lanes, 3 meters wide non-motorized lanes, and 2.5 meters wide sidewalks on both sides. The bridge is a suspension cable type, consisting of a main bridge, a tower pillar, a suspension boom, and a bridge pier. The central tower pillar is an inverted U-shaped structure, which is graceful and rich in characteristics. The bridge is a necessary road to enter the urban area from the airport. The design focuses on the effect of the viewpoint of the traffic on the bridge. The design highlights the three-dimensional sense of the bridge through the lights, and uses a suitable color combination to create a modern, atmospheric and elegant night light environment. The light colors at the bottom, middle and upper levels of the bridge are mainly 2200K, 3000K, and 4200K, respectively. The yellow light at the bottom gradually turns to white light upwards, as if a snow mountain rises from the Gobi, forming the Qilian Mountains in the background The echoes complement each other. The bridge adopts a combination of points, lines, and surfaces. The combination of dynamic and static lighting highlights the characteristics of the bridge body, reflects the beauty of the bridge's personality and essence, and displays the charm and momentum of the bridge.
